Much of the soil in U.S. farmlands has been significantly degraded over the years but regenerative practices are fundamentally changing how farmers manage their land. This transformation is leading to reduced input costs and improved crop resilience.

Products from regenerative systems command premium prices. This premium reflects both the environmental benefits and the higher quality often associated with regeneratively produced foods. Some say it is unlikely that a majority of shoppers will be willing to pay the premium when presented with cheaper prices for products coming from the industrial farming complex.
